1) What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is easily achieved, given expert help. In hypnosis you are able to accept suggestions much more readily than you would normally do. As you are hyper-suggestable, you are open to achieving great changes which are enduring as your subconscious mind is influenced to beneficially alter the way you perceive things, and to leave behind damaging habits.

2) What About Stage Hypnosis?

In a hypnotherapy session you are always in control. You will hear everything and be aware of what is happening around you. This is very different from Stage Hypnosis during which the participants appear to be controlled by the hypnotist. At our Clinic you will not have to reveal anything you do not wish to.

3) Is Hypnosis Safe?

Hypnosis is completely safe. You cannot be made to do anything against your will, and you cannot be "stuck" in hypnosis. You remain in control the whole time. You will hear everything, remember everything, and find it incredibly soothing, relaxing, and beneficial.

4) How is Clinical Hypnotherapy Effective?

Studies prove that a combination of powerful hypnotherapy and CBT is the therapy with the strongest evidence base in order to help you achieve what you want in your life. We believe it is important that our methods are proven to be effective by scientific investigation and not simply a matter of personal opinion.

There is also another good reason why many people choose hypnotherapy with CBT  to deal with their life issues. Unlike other therapies which require large numbers of sessions, with hypnotherapy/CBT the number of sessions needed will normally be around four depending on the issue you need resolving (smoking will normally be just one session).

5) Will I be Able to be Hypnotised?

All people who are of normal intelligence can experience hypnosis. It is untrue that only "weak minded" people can go into hypnosis. Anyone who can follow simple directions can do it easily given the right support.

6) Is the Therapist full Trained?

Yes he is - this is covered on the Profile page. It is a good question to ask, though, because most hypnotherapists in the UK have in fact had only a few days training and no examination. It is important to have professional help for your issues which you will get at Crawley Hypnotherapy Clinic. Would you go to an amateur dentist? No - so don't even consider an uneducated therapist. Your mind is as valuable as your teeth!
